وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ : مَا قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لِتِلْكَ الْجِنَازَةِ إِلَّا أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ يَهُودِيَّةً ، فَإِذَا هِيَ رِيحُ بَخُورِهَا ، فَقَامَ حَتَّى جَازَتْهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو عَمْرٍو السَّدُوسِيُّ ، وَلَمْ يَرْوِ عَنْهُ غَيْرُ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيِّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو عَمْرٍو السَّدُوسِيُّ ، وَلَمْ يَرْوِ عَنْهُ غَيْرُ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيِّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ayyash bin Abi Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not stand up because of that funeral itself; that funeral was of a Jewish woman, and he stood up because of the smell of its incense, and he remained standing until it had passed by him.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Abu Amr al-Sadusi; no one other than Abu Amir al-Aqadi has narrated from him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
