وَعَنْ سَلْمَانَ ، عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ : الْفَخْرُ فِي الْأَحْسَابِ ، وَالطَّعْنُ فِي الْأَنْسَابِ ، وَالنِّيَاحَةُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْغَفُورِ أَبُو الصَّبَّاحِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three things belong to the Jahiliyyah: boasting about ancestry, attacking people's lineage, and wailing over the dead."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Abd al-Ghafur Abu al-Sabbah, who is da'if (weak).
