وَعَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ قَالَ : أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِيَدِي فَقَالَ : " يَا عَبَّاسُ ، ثَلَاثٌ لَا يَدَعُهُنَّ قَوْمُكَ : الطَّعْنُ فِي النَّسَبِ ، وَالنِّيَاحَةُ ، وَالِاسْتِمْطَارُ بِالْأَنْوَاءِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abbas bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took my hand and said: "O Abbas! Your people will not abandon three things: attacking people's lineage, wailing over the dead, and seeking rain by means of the stars."
