وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَرْبَعٌ فِي أُمَّتِي لَيْسَ هُمْ بِتَارِكِيهَا : الْفَخْرُ فِي الْأَحْسَابِ ، وَالطَّعْنُ فِي الْأَنْسَابِ ، وَالنِّيَاحَةُ ، تُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ النَّائِحَةُ إِذَا لَمْ تَتُبْ عَلَيْهَا دِرْعٌ مِنْ قَطِرَانٍ " .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ بِاخْتِصَارٍ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ بِاخْتِصَارٍ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are four things in my ummah which they will not abandon: boasting about ancestry, attacking people's lineage, and wailing over the dead. On the Day of Resurrection the wailing woman, if she did not repent (in this world) of wailing, will be raised wearing a shirt of qatiran (a substance like tar or pitch obtained from certain trees)." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
