وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ أَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ بَصَرَهُ فَصَبَرَ وَاحْتَسَبَ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَاجِبًا أَنْ لَا تَرَى عَيْنَاهُ النَّارَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ وَهْبُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الْحَوَانِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever Allah Almighty takes away his sight, and he is patient and hopes for reward, it will be binding upon Allah Almighty that his eyes do not see the Fire (or Hell)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Saghir and al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Wahb bin Hafs al-Hawani, and he is da'if (weak).
