وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " يَقُولُ اللَّهُ : إِذَا أَخَذْتُ كَرِيمَتَيْ عَبْدِي فَصَبَرَ وَاحْتَسَبَ لَمْ أَرْضَ لَهُ ثَوَابًا دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَالْطَبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَبِي يَعْلَى ثِقَاتٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty says: 'When I take away the sight of both eyes of one of My servants, and he is patient and hopes for reward, I am not pleased with any reward for him less than Paradise.'"
Abu Ya'la and al-Tabarani in al-Kabir and al-Awsat recorded it. The narrators of Abu Ya'la are thiqat (trustworthy).
