Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3838

Sayyidah Aishah bint Qudamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is far above Allah Almighty that He should take away a believer's two dear things and then admit him into Hell." Yunus said: This means his two eyes.
Ahmad and al-Tabarani in al-Kabir recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Uthman al-Hatibi, whom Abu Hatim declared da'if (weak), and Ibn Hibban mentioned him in his book al-Thiqat.
