وَعَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ : قَالَ نُعَيْمَانُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بِي وَعْكٌ شَدِيدٌ مِنَ الْحُمَّى ! ! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " وَأَيْنَ أَنْتَ يَا نُعَيْمَانُ مِنْ مَهِيعَةَ " وَكَانَتْ أَرْضَ وَبِيئَةٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .

Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Nu'ayman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have a severe fever." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Nu'ayman! How far are you from Mahya'ah?" The narrator says: It was a land of epidemics.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Ishaq, and he is a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain).
