Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3732

With the same chain it is also reported that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a Muslim falls ill, Allah Almighty sends revelation to His angels, saying: 'O My angels, I have bound My servant with one of My fetters. If I take his soul, I will forgive him; and if I grant him well-being (that is, deliverance from this trial), his body will be such that it has been forgiven, and he will have no sin.'"
