Book of the Two Eids
بَابُ الْأَكْلِ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ قَبْلَ الْخُرُوجِ 3209 عَنْ عَطَاءٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ : إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لَا يَغْدُوَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ حَتَّى يَطْعَمَ فَلْيَفْعَلْ قَالَ : فَلَمْ أَدَعْ أَنْ آكُلَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَغْدُوَ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُ ذَلِكَ مِنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، فَآكُلَ مِنْ طَرَفِ الصَّرِيقَةِ الْأَكْلَةَ وَأَشْرَبُ اللَّبَنَ أَوِ الْمَاءَ فَقُلْتُ : عَلَى مَا تَأَوَّلَ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : سَمِعَهُ أَظُنُّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " كَانُوا لَا يَخْرُجُونَ حَتَّى يَمْتَدَّ الضُّحَى فَيَقُولُونَ : نَطْعَمُ لِئَلَّا نَعْجَلَ عَنْ صَلَاتِنَا " رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ وَرَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ .

عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ يَقُولُ حِينَ صَلَّى قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ قَامَ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ : أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلٌّ سُنَّةُ اللَّهِ وَسُنَّةُ رَسُولِهِ رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ
Wahb bin Kaysan narrates: On the day of Eid I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both), when he had prayed before the sermon and then stood up and addressed the people, (say:) "O people! All of this is the Sunnah (laid down) by Allah Almighty and the Sunnah of His Messenger."
