Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3228

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to pray before the sermon on the day of Eid.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). It is recorded in the Sahih with these words: "On the day of sacrifice, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed and then delivered the sermon."
