بَابٌ فِيمَنِ اقْتَصَرَ عَلَى الْوُضُوءِ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَبِهَا وَنِعْمَتْ وَمَنِ اغْتَسَلَ فَالْغُسْلُ أَفْضَلُ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَفِيهِ أُسَيْدُ بْنُ زِيدٍ وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution (wudu) on Friday, that is sufficient and good; and whoever takes a ritual bath (ghusl), the ritual bath is more virtuous."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration. Its chain contains a narrator, Usayd bin Zayd, and he is a kadhdhab (liar).
