Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2888

Ghalib bin Farqad narrates: When giving the salam to the right and to the left, Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: 'Al-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah' (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: In the Sahih there is a marfu' hadith (attributed to the Prophet) narrated from him, other than this one.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. I have not found anyone who has given the biography of the narrator named Ghalib.
