Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); as soon as he gave the salam, he stood up. Then I prayed behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr; when he gave the salam, he got up at once, as though he were sitting on a burning coal.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Abdullah bin Farrukh. Ibrahim al-Juzajani says: His narrations are munkar (rejected). Ibn Abi Maryam says: To me he is the most pleasing man on the face of the earth. Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy) and says: He sometimes narrates contrary to (other narrators). The remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
