Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 281

Sayyiduna Abu Razin (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I said: "O Messenger of Allah! How will Allah Almighty bring the dead to life?" He said: "Have you never passed through a barren place in the valley of your people, and when you later passed by it, it had become green; then when you passed by it, it had become barren; then you passed by it, and it was green? In this way Allah Almighty will bring the dead to life."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
