عَنْ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَتْ : ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَنِي الْجَنَّةَ . فَعَظَّمَ الرَّبَّ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - وَقَالَ : " إِنَّ كُرْسِيَّهُ وَسِعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ، وَإِنَّ لَهُ أَطِيطًا كَأَطِيطِ الرَّحْلِ الْجَدِيدِ إِذَا رُكِبَ مِنْ ثِقَلِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "Supplicate to Allah Almighty that He admit me into Paradise!" So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), describing the greatness of Allah Almighty, said: "His Kursi (Footstool) encompasses the heavens and the earth, and a creaking sound comes from it just as, when someone mounts a new camel-saddle, a sound comes (from that saddle) because of the weight."
