Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "(On the Day of Resurrection) 'al-Jabbar' (the Compeller, i.e. Allah Almighty) will take the heavens and the earth in His Hand, and then close His Hand; He will close it and open it, and then say: 'I am the Compeller! I am the King! Where are those who called themselves compellers? Where are the arrogant?'" The narrator says: While saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began swaying to the right and to the left, until I looked at the pulpit and it was moving beneath the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I was thinking: Will this pulpit not fall down with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on it?
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and he said: Yahya bin Bukayr narrated it like this and said that it is from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him), whereas other narrators said that it is from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
