Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2692

Ikrimah says: There is no recitation in the Zuhr and Asr prayers; only Surah al-Fatihah is to be recited. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The Messenger of Allah commanded us to recite, and the Messenger of Allah conveyed the commands that his Lord had revealed to him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ibrahim bin al-Hakam bin Aban, who is extremely da'if (weak).
