Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2691

It is reported about Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim that he led the people in the Zuhr and Asr prayers and recited about as much as Surah al-Inshiqaq. When he had completed the prayer, he said: "I have not fallen short with regard to the way of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ayyub bin Jabir, whom Yahya bin Ma'in, Ali (bin al-Madini) and others declared weak, while Ahmad and Amr bin Ali al-Fallas called him thiqah (trustworthy).
