بَابٌ مِنْهُ فِي تَعْدِيلِ الصُّفُوفِ وَصُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ .

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ أَوَّلُهَا وَشَرُّهَا آخِرُهَا، وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ آخِرُهَا وَشَرُّهَا أَوَّلُهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The best row of the men is the first one and the least good is the last one, and the best row of the women is the last one and the least good is the first one."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
