وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ إِمَامِ بَنِي خَطْمَةَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِمَامًا لَبَنِي خَطْمَةَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهُوَ أَعْمَى ، وَغَزَا مَعَهُ وَهُوَ أَعْمَى .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him), the imam of Banu Khatmah, was the imam of Banu Khatmah in the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He was blind, and despite being blind he took part in a military campaign with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
