وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي وَضَعْتُ قَدَمَيَّ حَيْثُ تُوضَعُ أَقْدَامُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ مِنْ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ، فَعُرِضَ عَلِيَّ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَإِذَا أَقْرَبُ النَّاسِ بِهِ شَبَهًا عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ، وَعُرِضَ عَلِيَّ مُوسَى - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ ضَرْبٌ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ كَأَنَّهُ مِنْ رِجَالِ شَنُوءَةَ ، وَعُرِضَ عَلِيَّ إِبْرَاهِيمُ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَإِذَا أَقْرَبُ النَّاسِ بِهِ شَبَهًا صَاحِبُكُمْ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَيَحْيَى وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ وَغَيْرُهُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَيَحْيَى وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ وَغَيْرُهُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "On the night I was taken on the Mi'raj, I saw that I placed my feet in Bayt al-Maqdis where the feet of the prophets (peace be upon them) used to be placed. Sayyiduna Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him) was presented before me, and among people the one who most closely resembles him is Urwah bin Mas'ud. Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) was presented before me, and his appearance was such that he seemed to be a man of the Shanu'ah tribe. Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was presented before me, and among people the one who most closely resembles him is your master (that is, the Prophet himself)."
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Umar bin Abi Salamah. Imam Ahmad, Yahya bin Ma'in and Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy), while Ali bin al-Madini and others declared him da'if (weak).
