Majma al-Zawaid 2329 — A blind man leading the prayer

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed Sayyiduna Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) as his deputy in Madinah, and he would lead the people in prayer.
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it; its chain contains Ufayr bin Ma'dan, who is da'if (weak).
