Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2234

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: In the first revelation that was sent to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it was said to him: Keep yourself covered! After that, the private parts of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were never seen.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Nadr Abu Umar, whose weakness the hadith scholars agree upon.
