بَابٌ فِيمَنْ تَحْصُلُ بِهِمْ فَضِيلَةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - رَأَى رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي وَحْدَهُ فَقَالَ : " أَلَا رَجُلٌ يَتَصَدَّقُ عَلَى هَذَا فَيُصَلِّي مَعَهُ ؟ " فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَصَلَّى مَعَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " هَذَانِ جَمَاعَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَلَهُ طُرُقٌ كُلُّهَا ضَعِيفَةٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man praying alone and asked: "Will someone give charity to this man by praying with him?" So a man stood up and prayed with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These two are a congregation."
