بَابٌ فِيمَنْ تَحْصُلُ بِهِمْ فَضِيلَةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ .

عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " اثْنَانِ فَمَا فَوْقَهُمَا جَمَاعَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two or more people count as a congregation."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Maslamah bin Ali, and he is da'if (weak).
