وَعَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا قَدْرَ مَفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever builds, for the pleasure of Allah Almighty, a mosque the size of the hollow a qata (sandgrouse) digs (for its eggs), Allah Almighty builds for him a house in Paradise."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
