وَعَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : "وَلَوْ كَمَفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ" ، وَفِيهِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ ظُهَيْرٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : "وَلَوْ كَمَفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ" ، وَفِيهِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ ظُهَيْرٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty builds for him a house in Paradise."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it, except that he (al-Tabarani) transmitted these words: "even if it is the size of the hollow of a qata (sandgrouse)." Its chain contains a narrator, al-Hakam bin Zuhayr, who is matruk (abandoned).
