Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1928

Sayyiduna Wathilah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The worst places are the markets and the roads, and the best places are the mosques. If you do not sit in the mosque, then stay in your home."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Bakkar bin Tamim, about whom the author of "al-Mizan" says: He is majhul (unknown).
