بَابٌ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ .

عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ : رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The imam is a guarantor, and the mu'adhdhin (caller to prayer) has been entrusted."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
