وَعَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَسَمِعَ مُؤَذِّنًا يَقُولُ : أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " خَلَعَ الْأَنْدَادَ " ، فَقَالَ : أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ، فَقَالَ : " خَرَجَ مِنَ النَّارِ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " تَجِدُونَهُ صَاحِبَ مِعْزًى مَعْزِبًا أَوْ صَاحِبَ كِلَابٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was travelling, and he heard a mu'adhdhin saying "Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah)." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "He has disowned the rivals (set up with Allah)." He said "Ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasulullah (I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah)," and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "He has come out of Hell." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will find him to be an owner of goats who is apart from his family, or a man with dogs."
