Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When the servants stand for the reckoning, some people will come who will have their swords placed on their necks, dripping with drops of blood. They will crowd at the gate of Paradise. It will be asked: 'Who are these?' It will be said: 'These are the martyrs, who were alive and were given provision.' Then a caller will call out: 'Let the one whose reward is due from Allah stand up and enter Paradise.' Then he will call out a third time: 'Let the one whose reward is due from Allah Almighty stand up and enter Paradise.' He will say: 'Whoever is such that his reward is due from Allah, let him enter Paradise.' Then so many thousands upon thousands of people will stand up, and they will enter it without reckoning."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been declared thiqat (trustworthy), although there is some weakness in some of them. (Allamah Haythami says:) I say: Before this, the hadith narrated by Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) and others has already passed, which is at the end of Kitab al-Manaqib, in the chapter on the virtue of this nation.
