Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "No miser, nor deceiver (or adulterator), nor one who betrays trust, nor one who treats his slaves badly will enter Paradise. The first to knock at the gate of Paradise will be the slaves, provided they carry out well the matters between themselves and Allah Almighty, and also (carry out well) the matters between themselves and their masters." After this the narrator mentioned the complete hadith. I say:
Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah recorded it in abridged form.
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it, and al-Tirmidhi declared it hasan (good) with this chain.
