بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي حَوْضِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - .

وَعَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَيُرْفَعَنَّ لِي رِجَالٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي ، حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَيْتُهُمُ اخْتُلِجُوا دُونِي فَأَقُولُ : أَصْحَابِي ! فَيُقَالُ : إِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) transmits this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Some people from among my companions will come before me, until, when I see them, they will be held back before reaching me. I will say: 'These are my companions.' It will be said: 'You do not know what new things they introduced after you.'"
