Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 18233

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) handed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) a piece of barley bread, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is the first food your father has eaten in the last three days."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it; however, he (al-Tabarani) added these words: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is this?" She replied: "It is a round loaf that I baked, and I was not at ease until I had brought you this piece." The narrators of both reports are thiqat (trustworthy).
