وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - جَالِسًا تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ ، فَتَحَرَّكَتِ الشَّجَرَةُ ، فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَزِعًا ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ : " ظَنَنْتُهَا الْقِيَامَةَ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ إِلَّا أَنَّ الْأَعْمَشَ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ أَنَسٍ كَمَا قِيلَ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting beneath a tree. The tree moved, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up in alarm. He (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about this, and he said: "I thought the Resurrection had come."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), except that al-A'mash did not hear from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), as has been stated.
