وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : مَا أَعْجَبَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - شَيْءٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا أَعْجَبَهُ فِيهَا إِلَّا وَرَعَا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ ، وَشَيْخُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ : أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) states: Nothing of this world, nor anything in it, pleased the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), except God-fearing restraint.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih except Ibn Lahi'ah, who has been declared trustworthy despite his weakness; and I do not know al-Tabarani's teacher, Ahmad bin al-Qasim.
