Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: On the day of the Battle of al-Ahzab, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was unable to offer the Zuhr and Asr prayers. He remembered them after Maghrib, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These people kept us from the prayer until the day had passed. May Allah Almighty fill their graves with fire." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered these two prayers after Maghrib.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, and there is weakness in him.
