وَعَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ السَّكُونِيِّ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا تَمَامُ الْبِرِّ ؟ قَالَ : " أَنْ تَعْمَلَ فِي السِّرِّ عَمَلَ الْعَلَانِيَةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ أَيْضًا .
Sayyiduna Abu Amir al-Sakuni (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I asked: "O Messenger of Allah, what is the perfection of righteousness?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That you do in secret the same deed that you do openly."
