وَعَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " اسْتَحْيُوا مِنَ اللَّهِ حَقَّ الْحَيَاءِ ، احْفَظُوا الرَّأْسَ وَمَا حَوَى ، وَالْبَطْنَ وَمَا وَعَى ، وَاذْكُرُوا الْمَوْتَ وَالْبِلَى ، فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ثَوَابُهُ جَنَّةُ الْمَأْوَى " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْقُرَشِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna al-Hakam bin Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Be modest before Allah Almighty with the modesty that is His due. Guard the head and what it holds, and the belly and what it contains. Remember death and decay. Whoever does that, his reward will be the Garden of Refuge (Jannat al-Ma'wa)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Isa bin Ibrahim al-Qurashi, and he is matruk (abandoned).
