Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Yazid al-Khatmi (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and submitted: O Messenger of Allah, when will the Hour come? The Prophet gave him no answer until, when he had finished the prayer, he called for him; he found him in one of the houses of the Ansar and said to him: Why did you ask about the Hour? He replied: I wanted to know when it will come. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What have you prepared for it? He submitted: I have not prepared much for it in the form of prayer, fasting or charity, but I love Allah and His Messenger. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then you will be with the one you love."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muslim bin Kaysan al-Mula'i, and he is da'if (weak).
