وَعَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ قَالَ : سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ السَّاعَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا ؟ " . فَقَالَ : مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا كَبِيرًا ، إِلَّا أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ . قَالَ : " فَأَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sarihah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the Hour, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What have you prepared for it? He submitted: I have not prepared much for it, except that I love Allah and His Messenger. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then you will be with the one you love."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Ghaffar bin al-Qasim al-Ansari, and he is kadhdhab (a liar).
