A person will be with those he loves

وَعَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا ؟ " . فَقَالَ : حُبُّ اللَّهِ [ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ] وَرَسُولِهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " فَأَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ، أَوِ ابْنُ عُبَادَةَ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَحَدِيثُ بَقِيَّةَ رِجَالُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him about the Hour, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What have you prepared for it? He submitted: Love of Allah and His Messenger. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then you will be with the one you love."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Abbad, or perhaps Ibn Ubadah, whom I do not know, and the hadith of the remaining narrators of this report is hasan (good).
