وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَيْضًا قَالَ : أَتَى النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَالَ : يَا مُحَمَّدُ ، إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ : - وَاللَّهِ ، إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ - ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ - فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ هَذَا الْحَالِفُ عَلَى مَا حَلَفَ ؟ " . فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ : أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَقَالَ : " انْطَلِقْ ; فَإِنَّكَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ ، وَعَلَيْكَ مَا اكْتَسَبْتَ ، وَلَكَ مَا احْتَسَبْتَ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ السَّرِيُّ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), I love you. The narrator says: I think he said these words three times: By Allah, I love you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Who is this person swearing an oath, who is swearing an oath about something? The man submitted: O Messenger of Allah, it is I. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go! You will be with the one you love. The burden of the (sins) you have earned will be upon you, and you will receive the reward of the (good) for which you hoped for reward."
