Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he was an elderly man. He asked: O Muhammad, when will the Hour come? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What have you prepared for it? He replied: By the One who sent you with the truth, I have not prepared much for it in the form of prayer and fasting, except that I love Allah and His Messenger. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then you will be with the one you love." The narrator says: Then that man got up, went and began to urinate (in a corner of) the mosque, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Let him be! Perhaps he is one of the people of Paradise. (The narrator says:) Then water was poured over his urine. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: In the "Sahih" only this part of this report is mentioned: "A person will be with the one he loves."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Sam'an al-Maliki, and he is majhul (unknown); Imam Abu Zur'ah declared him da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
