وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَنْ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ قَالَ : " مَنْ لَا يَمُوتُ حَتَّى يَمْلَأَ اللَّهُ مَسَامِعَهُ مِمَّا يُحِبُّ " . قِيلَ : فَمَنْ أَهْلُ النَّارِ ؟ قَالَ : " مَنْ لَا يَمُوتُ حَتَّى يَمْلَأَ اللَّهُ مَسَامِعَهُ مِمَّا يَكْرَهُ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Who are the people of Paradise?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The person who does not die until Allah Almighty fills his ears with what he loves." It was asked: "Who are the people of Hell?" He said: "The person who does not die until Allah Almighty fills his ears with what that person dislikes."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for al-Abbas bin Ja'far, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
