وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " اطَّلَعْتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الضُّعَفَاءَ وَالْفُقَرَاءَ ، وَاطَّلَعْتُ فِي النَّارِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I looked into Paradise and saw that the majority of its people were the weak and the poor, and I looked into Hell and saw that the majority of its people were women."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except al-Dahhak bin Yasar, and Ibn Hibban declared him trustworthy.
