وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " اطَّلَعْتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الْفُقَرَاءَ ، وَاطَّلَعْتُ فِي النَّارِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الْأَغْنِيَاءَ [ وَالنِّسَاءَ ] " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ جَيِّدٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I looked into Paradise and saw that the majority of its people were the poor, and I looked into Hell and saw that the majority of its people were the well-off and women."
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its chain is jayyid (good).
