Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The poor Muslims will enter (Paradise) half a day before the well-off Muslims." The narrator says: I asked: How long will half a day be? He said: (Allah Almighty says:) "Indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When they enter Paradise, all of them will have the stature of Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him)." I asked: What was the stature of Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him)? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "His height was twelve cubits (dhira', that is, the length from the elbow to the tip of the long middle finger) and his breadth was six cubits." I asked: Which cubit? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "As long as the cubit of a tall man."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Adi bin al-Fadl al-Taymi, who was their client (mawla), and he is da'if (weak).
