Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The first group to enter Paradise will be the poor Muhajirun, through whom hardships are warded off; when they are commanded, they listen and obey; when one of them has some need of a ruler, his need is not fulfilled until he dies with that need still in his chest. On the Day of Resurrection Allah Almighty will summon Paradise, and it will come with its adornment and beauty. Allah Almighty will say: There are servants of Mine who fought in My path and were killed, who were harmed for My sake, and who strove in My path. (Then those servants will be told:) Enter Paradise! And they will enter it without reckoning."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, and they added these words in it: "Enter Paradise without any punishment or reckoning! Then the angels will come and fall into prostration, saying: O our Lord, we glorify You night and day and declare Your holiness. Who are these whom You have preferred over us? Allah Almighty will say: These are My servants who fought in My path and were harmed in My path. Then the angels will enter upon them from every gate, saying: 'Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured; and excellent is the final home.'" The narrators of al-Tabarani are the narrators of the Sahih, except Abu Ushshanah, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
